The playground can get busy on weekends. Mornings are the best time for younger kids. The rubberized ground is stroller and wheelchair friendly. There's a shaded seating area for parents but bring hats and sunscreen since much of the playground is in the open. Bring a piece of cardboard for the slides, it makes it faster! Free parking available in the adjacent lot. Restrooms are on site. The playground is located inside Mitchell Park so you can extend the visit with a picnic on the grass.
