There's a parking fee at the marina lot ($5). But plenty of street parking along the park. The paved trail around the lake is flat and stroller-friendly but the full loop is about 12 miles, so pick a shorter out-and-back section with little ones. Pedal boat and kayak rentals are available. Pack snacks and water but the Lake Chabot Marina & Café is an option if you want a sit down otion. Restrooms are available near the marina and at picnic areas along the trail.
